The Primary School Liberty Leaders and the Elementary School Character Kids completed the Read, Right, and Run Marathon on April 9th, 2011.
The character groups took on the challenge of reading 26 books, making the world "right" with 26 service projects, and running 25 miles prior to April 9th. On race day, the students completed the last of the challenge by running 1.2 miles at the Read, Right, and Run Marathon in Forest Park. The students were honored for their achievements with a ceremony at their buildings where they received their racing medals.
The Read, Right, and Run Marathon is sponsored through the Go! St. Louis Marathon and encourages students to achieve academic, character, and healthy living goals.
Congratulations to all the Liberty Leaders and the Character Kids for reaching their goal!
